OCC Finalizes Reporting Requirements for Stablecoin Issuers Under GENIUS Act

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has finalized new weekly and quarterly reporting forms for permitted payment stablecoin issuers and foreign payment stablecoin issuers registered under the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act. These revised forms, initially proposed in June 2026, aim to ensure compliance, facilitate OCC supervision, and promote transparency regarding the financial condition of stablecoin issuers. The final rule implementing the GENIUS Act requirements was issued on October 21, 2026.
