U.S. Department of Commerce Announces $43.1 Million for Alaska's Maritime Industry Following Landslide Disaster

The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) intends to award $43.1 million in Disaster Supplemental funding to the Wrangell Industry Transformation Coalition in Alaska. This investment aims to support the maritime industry by constructing a maritime industrial hub, installing a floating dock, and improving infrastructure, in response to a devastating landslide in 2023.
