Pentagon Updates Iran War Costs to $47.1 Billion Amid Rising Hormuz Tensions

The U.S. Department of War has provided an updated estimate to Congress, indicating that $47.1 billion has been spent on operations as of October 16, an increase of $3.5 billion since early September. Most of these costs, approximately $29 billion, are attributed to replacing munitions.
