Americans are casting ballots today in the 2026 midterm elections, which will determine control of all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, 35 Senate seats, and 36 governorships. The elections are widely seen as a referendum on President Donald Trump's second term, with key battleground races across the country. Voters are also deciding on numerous state-level ballot measures concerning issues such as abortion rights, congressional redistricting, and voter identification laws.
