Central U.S. Faces Multiple Weather Threats Including Storms, Flooding, and Fire Risk

The National Weather Service predicts severe thunderstorms for the Southern Plains, Mississippi Valley, and Great Lakes regions. These storms also bring a risk of flash flooding, which could worsen existing flood conditions in the Great Lakes. Additionally, dry conditions continue to pose a critical fire weather threat in the Southern High Plains.
