NWS Continues Assessing Tornado Damage in Upper Midwest
National Weather Service teams are ongoing with damage assessments in the Upper Midwest following a tornado outbreak on April 17. The event produced multiple strong tornadoes, including EF-2 and EF-3, across parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Over 100 homes were damaged, and at least two injuries were reported, with the NWS La Crosse office issuing a record number of warnings.
