Mississippi River Levels Expected to Rise, Minor to Moderate Flooding Anticipated

The Mississippi River is projected to experience an increase in water levels over the next one to two weeks, primarily due to upstream snowmelt and recent rainfall. This rise is expected to lead to minor to moderate flooding across much of the river system. The river is forecast to crest in the Dubuque area early next week.
