North Georgia Under Flood Watch Amid Thunderstorm Activity

Much of North Georgia, including metro Atlanta, is currently under a flood watch due to widespread thunderstorms expected to continue into Thursday morning. Residents are advised to prepare for heavy rainfall, which could lead to flash flooding, along with potential damaging wind gusts and hail. A tornado watch previously issued for several counties in the region expired early on May 7th.
