Multiple Uncontained Wildfires Active Across US Southern and Western Regions

The National Interagency Fire Center reports 20 large uncontained wildfires currently active nationwide. Significant fire activity is concentrated in the Southern Area, covering Georgia and Florida, which is at Preparedness Level 4. Notable incidents include the Pineland Road fire in Georgia, 70% contained, and the Hwy 82 fire, 90% contained. Additional uncontained fires are also reported in New Mexico, Arizona, and Oregon.
