The National Hurricane Center forecasts a broad area of low pressure to form southwest of the Baja California Peninsula early next week. There is a 50% chance this system could strengthen into a tropical depression by mid-week as it tracks westward. No tropical cyclone activity is anticipated in the Atlantic, Caribbean, or Gulf of Mexico over the next seven days.
