US Plains Brace for Severe Storms and Potential Flooding

The National Weather Service anticipates severe thunderstorms across the northern Plains, bringing risks of large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes through Thursday. Additionally, heavy rainfall could lead to flooding in parts of the southern High Plains and North Dakota. A marginal risk for severe weather and flash flooding is also noted for Deep East Texas and West Louisiana.
