Tropical Storm Amanda Monitored in Eastern Pacific, New Cyclones Possible

The National Hurricane Center is currently tracking Tropical Storm Amanda in the Eastern Pacific, where marine warnings are in effect. Forecasters also indicate a moderate likelihood of additional tropical cyclone development off the coast of southern Mexico within the next week. Conversely, no tropical cyclone activity is anticipated for the Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico during the same period.
