Northern Plains Under Enhanced Risk for Severe Thunderstorms

The Storm Prediction Center has designated an Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms across portions of the Northern Plains for June 9. This forecast includes the potential for very large hail, destructive winds, and the possibility of strong tornadoes. Residents in eastern North Dakota, northeastern South Dakota, and northwestern Minnesota should prepare for hazardous weather conditions.
