Tropical Systems Boris and Cristina Impact Mexico and Central America with Heavy Rains and Flooding

Tropical Depression Boris is weakening as it moves inland over southern Mexico, but continues to cause life-threatening flash flooding in the region. Concurrently, Tropical Storm Cristina is slowly moving near the coast of northwestern Nicaragua, expected to bring significant rainfall and potential coastal flooding to Central America. Marine warnings have also been issued for the Eastern Pacific due to these systems.
