Severe Thunderstorm Threat Elevated for Central and Southern Plains

The Storm Prediction Center has designated an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms for parts of eastern Kansas, Missouri, and northeastern Oklahoma. Forecasts indicate potential for damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Additionally, heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding are possible in affected areas.
