Former Tropical Storm Arthur's Remnants Threaten Southeast US with Flash Flooding

The remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur are causing significant rainfall and a risk of severe flash flooding across the southeastern United States. A moderate risk for excessive rainfall is in effect for areas from Louisiana to Georgia. This system has already led to extreme rain events, numerous storm reports, and fatalities in Louisiana.
