Wildfires Continue to Burn in Miami-Dade, Florida; Florida's Turnpike Southbound Lanes Closed.

Wildfire suppression efforts are ongoing in west Miami-Dade. The Quarry 2 Fire has burned 17,200 acres and is 75% contained, the Well Fire 1,310 acres and 50% contained, and the Coptic Fire 1,680 acres and 40% contained. Southbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike are closed from Okeechobee Road (US 27) to Northwest 41st Street to support firefighting efforts and ensure public safety.
