Severe Thunderstorms and Flash Flooding Threaten Central and Eastern US
An enhanced risk of severe weather, including large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes, is forecast for parts of the central High Plains, central and southern Plains, and the Mid-Atlantic region. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 3 of 5 risk for these areas. Additionally, flash flood potential is expanding across portions of the Midwest and Texas Panhandle.
