UK Experiences Extended Extreme Heat and Thunderstorm Warnings

The UK Met Office has issued Red and Amber Extreme Heat warnings for parts of England, marking an unprecedented third consecutive day of such alerts. Temperatures are projected to reach up to 38°C, with high overnight temperatures also expected. Concurrently, yellow thunderstorm warnings are in effect across much of England, Wales, and Scotland, bringing risks of heavy rain, strong winds, lightning, and hail.
