Southern Japan is experiencing continuous heavy rainfall, prompting the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue high-level landslide warnings in several prefectures. The situation is expected to worsen with the approach of Tropical Storms Mekkhala and Higos, which are forecast to bring additional heavy rain to the Tokyo region.
