Unusual Late-June Winter Storm Warnings Issued for U.S. Mountains

The National Weather Service has issued unusual Winter Storm Warnings for heavy wet snow in higher elevations of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected, with up to 12 inches across the highest peaks, potentially downing trees and blocking forest roadways.
