Unseasonal Winter Storm Warnings Issued for Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming Mountains
Despite it being late June, the National Weather Service has issued unusual winter storm warnings for snow in higher elevations across parts of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Yellowstone National Park is also experiencing snow. This phenomenon is occurring simultaneously with a significant heatwave in the eastern U.S.
