German Weather Service Forecasts Severe Thunderstorms and Intense Rainfall

The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) has issued warnings for severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall across various parts of Germany. Localized heavy rain, hail, and strong wind gusts are anticipated in areas from Saxony to South Brandenburg. Further south, severe thunderstorms with significant rainfall amounts and hail up to 3 cm are expected from northern Baden-Württemberg to eastern and southern Bavaria, with conditions potentially lasting into Wednesday.
