Météo-France Warns of "Highly Probable" Heatwave Starting This Weekend

Météo-France has warned of another heatwave that is 'highly probable' and likely to start from this weekend (July 5). Temperatures are expected to rise again at the end of the week, with peak temperatures of 34-35°C in Île-de-France (Paris and surrounding region) between July 7 and July 10. Nationwide, highs of up to 35-36°C are expected for the period July 7-10. The government convened an interministerial crisis cell on June 29 to anticipate the upcoming heatwaves.
