Sacaton Fire in New Mexico Remains 0% Contained, Evacuations Ongoing

The Sacaton Fire, located 15 miles east of Glenwood, New Mexico, is 8,638 acres and remains 0% contained as of July 5, 2026. The lightning-caused fire has prompted a 'GO!' evacuation status for the community of Willow Creek.
