Dozens of Large Wildfires Active Across US, Prompting Evacuations

The National Interagency Fire Center reports 41 large wildfires currently active across the United States, with 124 new fires recently ignited. Evacuations are underway in three distinct geographic areas due to rapidly changing conditions.
