Severe Storms and Flood Risk Predicted for Central US Regions

Portions of Central Montana, western Wisconsin, and southeastern Minnesota face a slight risk of severe thunderstorms today, bringing threats of gusty winds, large hail, and lightning. Heavy rainfall could also lead to flash and urban flooding across the Northern Plains, Upper Great Lakes, and Mid-Atlantic. Additionally, Northeast Texas and Northern Louisiana are under a continued threat of strong to severe thunderstorms, primarily with damaging wind gusts.
