France Under Orange Heatwave Alert, Red Vigilance Considered for Southern Regions

Météo-France has issued an orange vigilance for a severe and prolonged heatwave affecting 67 departments across France. Temperatures are projected to reach up to 43°C in some areas as the heat intensifies and spreads. Authorities are also evaluating the possibility of triggering a red vigilance for three southern departments due to the extreme conditions.
