Central and Eastern U.S. Brace for Severe Storms and Heavy Rainfall

The National Weather Service anticipates severe thunderstorms across parts of the central and eastern United States. These storms are expected to bring large hail and damaging wind gusts to the High Plains and Missouri. Additionally, heavy rainfall and potential flash flooding are forecast for the Mid-Mississippi, Ohio, and Tennessee Valleys, extending into the Appalachians.
