Heatwave Continues in UK with Increasing Wildfire Risk, Temperatures Up to 35°C

The UK is experiencing an unprecedented run of 35°C days, with temperatures of 35°C or higher recorded in May, June, and July for the first time. Amber and yellow heat health alerts remain in place across large parts of England. The warm and dry conditions, coupled with freshening winds, are creating extreme wildfire conditions for many parts of England and Wales.
