UK Records Unprecedented Heatwave with Increasing Wildfire Risk and Hosepipe Ban

The UK is experiencing its third heatwave of 2026, with temperatures of 35°C (95°F) or higher recorded in May, June, and July for the first time in weather records. Amber and yellow heat health alerts remain in place across large parts of England.
