Record-Tying Tornadoes and Ongoing Heat Warnings in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada

A record-tying 10 tornadoes were reported across Saskatchewan on Friday, as a dangerous heatwave fuels extreme weather across the Prairies. Environment Canada has issued heat warnings across much of southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with humidex values expected to reach the mid-40s through the weekend and into early next week. More tornadoes are possible as hot, humid conditions persist.
