Simultaneously, severe weather has impacted the Prairies, with Environment Canada issuing 15 severe thunderstorm warnings and six tornado warnings between July 11 and July 12. Confirmed tornadoes touched down north of Lloydminster and near Glaslyn, Saskatchewan, causing significant damage to an agricultural equipment dealership in Kinistino. Flash flooding and power outages also affected Edmonton, Alberta, earlier in the week.
