Northern New York and New England Face Enhanced Severe Storm Risk and Heat Advisory

An Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms, including widespread damaging winds, large hail, and potential tornadoes, has been issued for parts of northern New York and New England. Concurrently, a Heat Advisory is in effect for much of the region, with heat indices expected in the mid-90s. Residents should also prepare for localized heavy rain, frequent lightning, and a chance of isolated flash flooding.
