Catastrophic Flash Flooding and Tornado Reported in South Central Texas

The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings for several counties in South Central Texas, including areas west of San Antonio, with pockets of 10 to 20 inches of rainfall possible. Life-threatening flooding is likely, and a tornado was reported in San Antonio. A Flood Watch remains in effect until July 16. Evacuation alerts and road closures are in effect in some areas.
