Extreme Heat, Tornado Watch, and Wildfire Smoke Alerts Issued Across Canada

Environment Canada has issued widespread weather warnings. Heat warnings are in effect for much of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, with temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s Celsius and humidex values in the mid-40s. An orange tornado watch has been issued for areas between Montreal and Quebec City. Additionally, heat warnings are active for parts of British Columbia, and wildfire smoke from northern Ontario is causing orange alert air quality warnings in Toronto.
