France Issues Dual Warnings for Heatwave and Severe Thunderstorms

Météo-France has issued orange alerts across various departments, signaling both persistent heatwave conditions and the threat of severe thunderstorms. Thirty-one departments are under heatwave warnings, while fifteen face alerts for storms that could bring strong winds up to 120 km/h and large hail. The heat is subsiding in northern areas but remains high in the south, while storms are expected in central and eastern regions.
