Multiple Large Wildfires Actively Burning Across North-Central and Eastern Oregon

Multiple large wildfires, including the Hoag Fire (10,000 acres), Hopkins Fire (3,104 acres), Cove Creek Fire, Crosswhite Fire, Brewer Fire, and Lower Dry Creek Fire, are actively burning across Gilliam, Wheeler, Wasco, Crook, Jefferson, and Umatilla counties in Oregon. Containment remains limited for many fires, with several exhibiting active fire behavior under dry weather conditions.
