Code Orange Air Quality Alert Issued for Philadelphia Area Due to Wildfire Smoke

A Code Orange Air Quality Alert remains in effect for Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties on Saturday, July 18, 2026. While air quality is improving across most of Pennsylvania, these southeastern counties will see slower improvement due to expected later rainfall. Residents are advised to limit outdoor activities.
