Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and Heat Warnings Issued Across Parts of Canada

Environment Canada has upgraded severe thunderstorm watches to warnings for the Peace region, forecasting large hail (loonie to ping pong ball size), strong winds, and heavy rain. Heat warnings remain in effect for areas from Dawson Creek, Grande Prairie, and Valleyview north to the territorial boundaries. A severe thunderstorm watch is also in place for the Greater Toronto Area, with potential for gusts up to 110 km/h and 40 mm of rain.
