Tropical Depression Two Forms in Gulf of Mexico, Tropical Storm Watch Issued for Florida Panhandle

The National Hurricane Center has designated Invest 91-L as Tropical Depression Two, with an 80% chance of further development into a tropical storm. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the Florida Panhandle, and heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and localized flooding are expected across portions of the northern Gulf Coast, including Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
