Tropical Depression Two in Gulf of Mexico and Tropical Storm Fausto in Eastern Pacific Monitored by NHC

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is issuing advisories for Tropical Depression Two in the Gulf of Mexico, which is moving slowly north-northwestward and is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm. Tropical storm conditions are possible in the Florida Panhandle by late Monday, with potential for flash flooding along the eastern and central Gulf Coast. Separately, Tropical Storm Fausto formed off Mexico's southwest Pacific coast and is forecast to become a hurricane by Monday night. Tropical Storm Elida is also in the Eastern Pacific but is weakening.
