France Elevates Wildfire Risk Across Multiple Regions Amid Drought

French authorities have designated 27 departments as having a high risk of forest fires due to persistent hot and dry conditions. Several significant wildfires are currently active in southern and western parts of the country, including Var and Corsica. Additionally, six southern departments are under an orange heatwave alert, exacerbating the fire danger.
