Northwest Territories Grapples with 201 Active Wildfires and Extreme Air Quality Warnings

Canada's Northwest Territories is experiencing a significant wildfire situation, with 201 active wildfires, 194 of which are out of control. Seven new fires were reported on Monday morning. Environment Canada has issued very high-risk air quality warnings for parts of the Northwest Territories due to smoke from these wildfires. In Nova Scotia, the Mooseland Road fire, covering approximately 14.5 square kilometers, is being contained.
