Southern France Under Heatwave Alert with Elevated Wildfire Risk

Météo-France has issued an orange heatwave alert for six departments in southern France, with temperatures expected to reach up to 40°C. Concurrently, a significant portion of the country, 27 departments, faces an elevated risk of forest fires. Four of these departments are anticipated to be upgraded to a red vigilance level for fire risk starting tomorrow.
