Tropical Storm Bertha Strengthens, Gulf Coast Under Warnings

Tropical Storm Bertha has intensified in the Gulf of Mexico, now reaching maximum sustained winds of 50 mph. The storm is currently located south of Panama City, Florida. Consequently, various warnings have been issued for the US Gulf Coast, including Tropical Storm Warnings from the Alabama/Florida border to parts of Louisiana, and a Storm Surge Watch for specific coastal regions.
