Strong Winds and Isolated Thunderstorms Forecast for Northern Germany.

The Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) forecasts strong to stormy gusts of 55 to 70 km/h (Bft 7-8) in the North Sea area overnight and at the Baltic Sea during Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the northeast from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday night, with gusts up to 70 km/h and small hail. Heavy rainfall of around 15 l/sqm/h is also possible in the vicinity of the Baltic Sea due to showers and thunderstorms.
