Environment Canada Issues Heat Warnings Across Southern Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta

Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for large parts of southern Saskatchewan (including Moose Jaw), southern Manitoba (including the Red River Valley), and Medicine Hat, Alberta, effective July 24, 2026. Daytime highs in the low to mid-30s Celsius with humidex values reaching into the high 30s to low 40s are expected to persist through the weekend and into next week, posing a risk of heat-related illnesses.
