Two Tropical Systems Track in Eastern Pacific; Hawaii Braces for Dangerous Surf from Fausto

Two tropical systems, Hurricane Fausto and Tropical Storm Genevieve, are active in the Eastern Pacific. Fausto, currently a Category 2 storm, is projected to bring hazardous surf and rip currents to Hawaii starting July 26, though it is expected to weaken. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Genevieve is forecast to rapidly strengthen into a major hurricane. The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a heavy weather condition for Hawaiian commercial ports in anticipation of strong winds from Fausto.
