Special Weather Statement Issued for Strong Thunderstorm in Northwestern Colorado Springs

The National Weather Service (NWS) Pueblo CO has issued a Special Weather Statement for a strong thunderstorm over northwestern Colorado Springs, moving northeast at 5 mph. Hazards include wind gusts up to 40 mph, locally heavy rainfall, and brief pea-size hail. Torrential rainfall is also occurring, which may lead to localized flooding.
